Preseason (Update) 5 Falling Outta Summer (coincidentally the name of the 67th episode of My High School Years (TR27's Version), my vlog that you should totally watch over on the Episodes tab on this site!) 08.26.25 With 5 days left to go in the 2025 preseason of Fall Foliage With TR27, it is time that I make the 5th update and state that the transition to fall has already begun. The lines might've been long at Six Flags New England (Agawam, MA) today when I went and screamed summer, but not only did I notice lines, I noticed trees with fall foliage on them, and with temps only in the 70s (high of 77.5°F/25.3°C), it was starting to feel like fall as well especially with dew points in the 40s! 🥶 Normally, when the wind blows on a summer day, it's a hot/warm wind that doesn't really cool you down, but today's wind felt like an Arctic blast to help cool you down while waiting in line! Preseason (Update) 4 1 month to fall (+ foliage pics!) 08.22.25 Today marks 1 month until the official start of fall and though it was more summery today (high of 84.6°F/29.2°C) with lots of sunshine and warmer temps, today's sunshine allowed me to get pics of the trees, and they're already starting to change, the early ones anyways. Already lots of leaf drop, but these are from the trees that started changing about a month ago. This bush is starting to change colors! Probably the best looking fall foliage until we get to September! Maybe this is the best? The mountain is still entirely dark green/height of summer (my terminology), so the changing colors in my area are early changers. We're clearly still in summer mode, except for whatever August 20 was! 😂 Over here is still dark green. Nothing, yet...
