Over 180 years of photography...
It is hard to believe how long that photography and videography has been around since the latter began in the 19th century! I was just perusing through YouTube today, and came across a video of the world's oldest photos, and now, out of pure curiosity, I was delighted to find out that 2019 is the 180th anniversary of the daguerreotype, and so I decided to write on the history of photography and videography. Now, here's a timeline of photography/videography: 1826-1827: The first photo, View From The Window at Le Gras. Taken almost 200 YEARS AGO! How was THAT taken 200 YEARS AGO? It feels like it was taken when the dinosaurs were here! 😂😂😂😮😮😮 1839: The daguerreotype is introduced. Technically, the photo dates to 1837, but still, it was a very long time ago, and daguerreotypes were a huge advancement in camera quality during this time.
