This blog is now 7 years old, so I figured I'd mention that song to start. Happy Birthday!

Unlike this blog's 6th anniversary on April 5, 2024, it feels WAY more like 2018 now, in fact a more extreme version of 2018.

Here's why.

Donald Trump has returned to the White House after a close victory from Kamala Harris in November 2024. Back in April 2024, it was still Biden running with Kamala Harris as the running mate, but after a disastrous performance by Biden in early summer 2024 (due to being sick, NOT his age like people thought), he was basically forced to drop out and Kamala Harris became the new runner with Tim Walz as running mate in July 2024. They would do their absolute best in the few months they had to win, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough time to defeat Trump a 2nd time (first time being Biden winning in 2020) and Trump is now the 47th President of the United States with JD Vance as vice president.

Today actually marked a HUGE day for people turning against Trump, since today was the nationwide Hands Off protest that took place across the United States, including Washington, DC and where I live! https://handsoff2025.com

That's the main reason why, but it also feels like 2013 as well, with...
A Minecraft Movie being in theaters, meaning a resurgence of the game that refuses to die!
Flappy Bird is coming back later this year after an 11 year hiatus!
2010s artists at the top of the music charts, like SZA, Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, and Drake and music sounds like the 2010s again, as in today's music by 2010s artists could've easily taken off in 2013/the 2010s!
Other 2010s elements coming back into play as well, with music and media being the main ones.

It feels like I'm getting to experience 2013 as an adult (except with Trump as president instead of Obama), and boy, is this is an interesting feeling!

Anyways, today marks 7 years of this blog's existence. Making it to 10 years (April 5, 2028) would be incredible, and 11 years would be even better!

I know I don't post nearly as much here as I used to, but that's because I post my new vlog episodes for My High School Years (TR27's Version) on Telegram now, being the official home of my vlog!

128 episodes currently available as of April 5, 2025, with content from April 20, 2018 up to December 4, 2020 available in the 128 episodes currently available. More episodes coming soon! The ultimate goal is to "catch up" to 2025, or whatever year it is when content is reached there and to end the 4+ year content gap, though this will take months to years to end the gap, though I will remain committed to "filling the gap" in as little time as possible.

I expect this to happen sometime in 2026, though it could happen later in 2025 as well.

2025 has gotten off to a rocky start, especially with the TikTok ban, Trump returning to power, and everything else. Hopefully, the rest of this year and 2026 onwards are more "relaxed", but I don't know if that will happen, but I'm still going to STAY POSITIVE and hope for the best! :)

My High School Years - A Whole Lotta Firsts (9/20/19)

  This is SEASON 2 EPISODE 1. Summary: Season 2 (The Sophomore Year) is here, and there are A WHOLE LOTTA FIRSTS in it! Firstly, you see my community celebrating it's "birthday", followed by the bus ride to my school with construction, then MY FIRST CONCERT on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 6:30pm in my local community with all the people there and all the food I had, everything, then just a normal Friday that started with early fall morning fog, saying goodbye to my old social worker and hello to my new one, sunset and foliage, followed by encountering MY LAWYER at Whole Foods, where we were going, and went to PiNZ for dinner, where I got a GF burger with fries, and it was very good, and that was my AMAZING week!
