My High School Years

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 30. Summary: With summer coming to an end, what can you do? None other than plan A BIG TRIP of course! For this episode, I went to Rochester, NY to drop William off at college, then went to Niagara Falls, NY to stay the night in a hotel that was 15 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE FALLS and missed the LAST shuttle to the falls by 10 MINUTES, the car's AC wasn't working partially, ate at the Rainforest Café with okay food, pasta was cold, no trip to the buffet at the Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls, NY, which is my FAVORITE with MANY gluten free options (in 2018), then we locked ourselves out of the car and had to wait until 8:20pm for AAA to come, and we were good by 9pm, but still... Then came Lake George, which had MUCH better luck for me, I won at the arcade (no footage ☹), stayed at the AMAZING Studio Motel Lake George, ate pizza, then left for therapy on the last day which was a Monday, despite being 2 1/2 hours away, we left Lake George shortly after 12 or 1p

  This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 29. Summary: What a fun week! It started with going to the zoo ☹, but then, I did ROLLER SKATING, I BOWLED, went to the ARCADE, and jumped A LOT at our local TRAMPOLINE PARK! It was a very fun week, and I really want to, and can't wait to, do it again!   This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 28. Summary: What a great day! On July 20, 2019, which so happened to also be the 50th anniversary of the moon landing on July 20, 1969, I went to the Nourished Festival (formerly GFAF Expos) in Worcester, MA, and ate at 110 Grill afterwards, and me getting gluten free pasta primavera with sweet potato fries with a Sprite at 110 Grill, and countless samples at the Nourished Festival. Why the Nourished Festival? EVERYTHING is available gluten free there, just like 110 Grill, which so happened to be there serving pulled pork mac and cheese, which I didn't try! 😱 Yes, that's true! Everything's available gluten free, which for celiacs like me, is THE MOST CONVENIENT THING IN THE WORLD! A dedicated GF festival, is just, wow! Yeah, I'm not going to "the other festival" where I could get burgers without buns and salads, no, no, NO! Incredibly convenient and fun festival, can't wait to come back!   This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 27. Summary: What a nice weekend in Lake George, NY! I spent the weekend getting food, having fun, seeing fireworks from the observation deck at the top of the Sheraton Lake George, and riding the boat in Lake George called the Minne-Ha-Ha (haha, funny name 😂😂😂🤔🤔🤔🤔) It was a very fun weekend, and that's all I did, the trip to Lake George, but it was my first time here, my first new tourist destination since December 31, 2017, which was a trip to Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, FL.   This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 26. Summary: It was the 4th of July 2019, and we went to Westerly, RI to celebrate it! Besides the beach, I also got "666ø" in Uno 🤔 and saw a beautiful sunset at the mall.   This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 25. Summary: What a fun second half of May 2019! In the first week of 2, I went to see my mom, as I always do, followed by a Memorial Day trip to Long Island, NY for the weekend, and that was Week 1! For week 2 (the final week of May 2019), I went to Denny's with Julie for lunch, followed by a trip to Chuck E Cheese's in Springfield, MA for a promotion for mom's school on Friday, May 31, 2019 and a night of fun with A MASSIVE JACKPOT WIN at the end, before concluding the night there with gluten free sausage pizza! It was an amazing 2 weeks, and was some good pre-summer fun! (hence the name of the episode) UPDATE 8/30/2020: Unfortunately, Chuck E Cheese's in Springfield, MA has permanently closed. It is rough to see a local arcade spot close for good, but because of the decline of the area surrounding it (Boston Road, US-20, Springfield, MA) and COVID-19, it closed for good.   This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 24. Summary: What a delicious week! (pun intended) Tanisha went to prom (I didn't go) and I took a selfie with her before she went there, and I finished off with a Mother's Day trip to The Cheesecake Factory in West Hartford, CT, with a wait of 1 hour 20 minutes, staying at Barnes & Noble to look up gluten free cookbooks and their recipes (I took pictures of 2 such recipes) Also, it was in the 40s and 30s, more winter than spring weather, and it was a great week! Comparison: made (around) the same time: 2018: "...The weather's in the 80s, spring is here" (May 4, 2018) - 80 DEGREE WEATHER 2019: "I'm waiting in Barnes & Noble because I can't stay outside" (May 12, 2019) - 40 DEGREE WEATHER Wow. This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 23. Summary: It was a very interesting first week of May 2019! I went to the movies to see Avengers: Endgame, ate at Arizona Pizza before the movie, went to see my mom, which I do every week, and I had a Nailed It! day when trying to make a regular cinnamon roll recipe gluten free, DON'T DO THAT.   This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 22. Summary: Spring looks very sweet! I took some nature pictures of spring trees blossoming and spring sunsets, I saw my mom (well, I do that every week), I got some Google Maps achievements for reaching 1,000 views and my 110 Grill Marlborough picture got 958 views.
