Heat waves in the middle of... February?!

Wow, what a warm day Feb 10, 2024 was! I'm writing this about 12:30am on Feb 11, 2024, and it's STILL WAY above what it should be - my local weather station is reading 39.2°F (4°C) as of 12:22am along with some other readings. Here's what the readings are as of 12:25am on 2/11/24.

Local weather station: 39.2°F (4.0°C) as of 12:22am 2/11 *UNOFFICIAL
Barnes AFB (Westfield MA): 38°F (3.3°C) as of 11:53pm 2/10
Westover AFB (Chicopee MA, official records for local TV stations): 40°F (4.4°C) as of 11:55pm 2/10

Keep in mind, it's February. But I'm not done yet. Here's what the max temp was on 2/10/24 (and 2/10/23, the old record)

Feb 10, 2024 max temps
Local weather station: 58.8°F (14.9°C) +0.9°F (+0.5°C)
Barnes AFB (Westfield MA): 59°F (15.0°C) +2°F (+1.1°C)
Westover AFB (Chicopee MA): 58°F (14.4°C) +0.6°F (+0.3°C)
It should be 34°F (1.1°C) as a HIGH temp, and ALL stations are above that IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT as of just after midnight on 2/11/24.
To clarify, per a website I use, from where I am, at this time of day (night!), it should be about 24°F (-4.4°C), so right NOW, it is STILL about 15°F (8.3°C) ABOVE average!

Feb 10, 2023 max temps (previous record)
Local weather station: 57.9°F (14.4°C)
Barnes AFB: 57°F (13.9°C)
Westover AFB: 57.4°F (14.1°C)

Yes, these temps are insane. But NOTHING compared to 2/21/18, when it was 74.3°F (23.5°C) at Westover AFB and an UNBELIEVEABLE 79°F (26.1°C) at Barnes AFB!
That is the highest February temp we've EVER had, and you want me to tell you what happened that day for me?
A trip to the Holyoke Mall (this was during February vacation, so I was at the Springfield JCC) and playing on the playground IN SHORTS! (This was February vacation, and it felt like summer vacation!)

The most recent day with weather like THAT was April 14, 2023, when it reached 94.5°F (34.7°C) at the local weather station, 93.9°F (34.4°C) at Barnes AFB, and 92.3°F (33.5°C) at Westover MORE THAN TWO MONTHS before the official start of summer, and more than a month before Memorial Day, when all the summer attractions open!

OK, I have to get to bed. Just saying:
It was a record breaking warm day yesterday!

IT'S DAY 3 OF MY 2019 FEBRUARY VACATION!

You're probably wondering, where's DAY 2? Well, let's just say that Day 2, was a snow day! We went nowhere! And so, Day 2 was not noteworthy for a blog post. So we're skipping Day 2 and going straight to Day 3. What happened today: (2/19/19) We had plans to go to Berkshire East. That would've been a lot of fun. However, by the time we even got to the exit for Berkshire East, it was like an hour before they closed. So we decided to do that tomorrow (2/20/19) and went to Yankee Candle instead. That was good, but it could've been better due to me almost losing my diabetes kit. (Luckily, it was in the car!) Now, I've had some good experiences with Yankee Candle in the past, especially in 2013. Now, a little flashback to Nov 30, 2013: Mom and I visited Yankee Candle on Nov 30, 2013. When we got there, it was a cold morning and we watched Santa come down from the sky. That was fun! And then, we had some good food and sweets, lots of fun, and a little Candy Crush

My High School Years: Hashtag 31 (2/22/19)

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 16. Summary: It was February vacation, and I had a lot of fun and did so many things! I went to PINZ twice, Autobahn twice, (only raced once) went to Yankee Candle,  went to 110 Grill  with Julie, and went to Downtown Northampton and got lunch at VIVA pasta! I will definitely be back! I also tried going to the barber, but they were closed! (even though it was during business hours!) This episode's also a RECORD-BREAKING 25 MINUTES LONG! So, I hope you saved all your time for this!
