Preseason (Update) 6 Back To School & Fall Colors & Weather 08.27-08.29.25 (published 08.30.25) This last week of August has felt a lot less like summer, especially with nights being as cold as they have been. We haven't even made it to Labor Day (09.01.25) yet but the weather has gotten to a point where it is pushing the limits of being able to keep summer attractions open, not during the day (except for 08.20.25), but at night. For the dates from 08.27-08.29.25, here's what the recorded highs and lows have been: 08.27.25: Low of 46.2°F/7.9°C (morning of 08.27), high of 76.6°F/24.8°C 08.28.25: Low of 42.3°F/5.7°C (morning of 08.28), high of 78.8°F/26°C 08.29.25: Low of 53.6°F/12°C (morning of 08.29), high of 75.6°F/24.2°C (some data missing, but it definitely seems to have been around this range) For keeping summer attractions open, highs of 77 (25°C), 79 (26.1°C), and 76 (24.4°C) are definitely sufficient and normal for the last week of their usual operational season ...
