14 days to the show!
It is now 14 days to the show!
What I did today: I have been in foster care now for 6 years straight. Incredible. The Timeline of my life in foster care:
4/13/2012: Bad day at school, first day in custody
4/16/2012: Very Bad News, the Brattleboro Retreat calls and says they want me.
Mid-May 2012: I see Mary for the first time, at the time, I was in Starr Program(I wanted to get OUT of there), she like saved my life
Second half of 2012: Beautiful time. First few months with Mary, we take two summer trips. One was to Mystic Aquarium, and the other was to a lodge in New Hampshire.
12/12/2012: Back to my mom, also my 9th birthday.
1/29/2013: Mom is sick, so I go back into foster care.
2013: A crazy year, Yoely, and Mary. Yoely lives in Springfield, and I was with her for a week or so. I remember one time with her that her son was acting up, and he had to ho to bed at 9pm. But I did so well that Yoely let me stay up until 10pm and watch HGTV with her.
12/12/2013: My 10th and worst birthday. I went to school, but they called DCF, because they said I touched someone's privates(I DID NOT, I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THEY WERE YET) Then at 9:45 pm, my mom totaled her car having a seizure on Mt. Tom.
I went back to Starr Program.
1/6/2014: Mom picks me up from school, I reunited again. It was a beautiful day!
2014: End of elementary school, and I go to middle school, at White Brook(this is a horrible school).
10/22/2014: Bad day at school again, and I kick the teacher, Mary takes me to Cooley Dickinson Hospital again, I though I was staying there. I was there from 12pm to 7pm. Then I go to Pittsfield at 8pm. We arrive... At the wrong building! Then from 9pm to 10pm, I was in a hospital, it was nice! But I was out of there in an hour. Then at 10pm, we finally arrived at the Crisis Stabilization Unit. I was up until 11:15 pm that night. They had 22 rules there, I wrote down the whole list on a piece of paper, in my room. It could still be there today, probably not. I also lost my cellphone there. Once, I was checking my pictures and watching videos from Treehouse and they asked me, "Is it appropriate?" I was like, come on! I was out of there by November.
11/5/2014: I was going out of there for good. But I brought my Diary Of A Wimpy Kid book, it was mine, but they said it was theirs. So I got into a fight with them, and at the end, I think I said something really strong to them(I don't remenber what I said), and they finally let me take it home. After this, I wrote my name all over the book, and that's how it is today.
The bad part of my life luckily ended on November 5, 2014, I have since been with Mary and nobody else.
2014: I went to a new school. I am there today. They have two sides, the JP(elementary) and the AP(high school), I started in the JP, I am now in the AP.
2015: I start Special Olympics doing soccer. I went all the way to near Boston for the finals, I win a trophy.
Summer 2016: Back to road trips. I went to Pennsylvania to go to Sesame Place and Kalahari. During 2016 into 2017, Kalahari had recently opened and was doing massive construction to become the largest waterpark/hotel in America in 2017. I do not know what it looks like now, because I only went in 2016. I would prefer Kalahari over Sesame Place: First they have gluten free food at Kalahari, Sesame Place did not and it was a long line.
Summer 2017: The road trips continue, we go to DC and Niagara Falls(NY). It was raining in both places, but at the hotel in DC, I got into the pool on the top floor, unfortunately, the lifeguard blew the whistle and said the pool was closed due to inclement weather. But in Niagara Falls, the pool was open. I loved the hotel, it had a TGI Fridays, Rainforest Café and more. The Rainforest Cafe had gluten free. So I got a soda with a gluten free cheeseburger. Also right across the street was the Seneca Casino. They also had gluten free and a lot of it. So Niagara Falls was awesome despite the weather. It was a very fun summer.
2017 into 2018: Our latest road trip occured during Christmas break. We went from home to New York City, to North Carolina, then to Daytona Beach and finally Orlando. First was NYC. We didn't go into any buildings, we just stayed at one of Mary's relatives in Yonkers. Then we went to the city for the morning to stay in a 7 storee apartment building. One of Mary's relatives also lived in this building. Then we were off to North Carolina. It took the whole day driving, but it was good. Then we stayed in Raleigh in a Hampton Inn and Suites. We were there for 3 days, including Christmas. After that, we went to Daytona Beach to stay at the Ocean Walk Resort. Unfortunately, it was only like 60 degrees outside, but they had a hot tub, so I went in there, only one problem: Getting out of it, it would be freezing! Then going into the pool was worthless, I almost destroyed Mary's phone playing with it, throwing it in the water. Luckily, it is water resistant. Then on the beach, I couldn't stay, it felt like 40 degrees on the beach. I only stayed so Jeremiah, one of Wanda's teenagers, could take a picture of me and upload it to Snapchat. Wanda is one of Mary's relatives. Then we went to Orlando on Dec 31st to go to Disney for the day. We went to Epcot and went "around the world". Then at around 2pm, we went to a restaurant called the Electric Umbrella. I was getting upset, because I didn't see a gluten free menu, but they had one all along. So I got upset for no reason. Then we saw fireworks at around 6pm. Then we left at around 7pm. We then stayed at the Hampton Inn to put our stuff away, and stayed from 8pm to 9pm. Then around 10pm, we went to one of Mary's relatives house in Orlando until around 12:30 am. But at 11:15 pm, just 45 minutes before 2018, I fell asleep. Dang! I was then mad on January 1, 2018, which was the day we started going home. Then we stayed at a motel somewhere in South Carolina for the night, I was barely awake when we got there. Then on the 2nd, we continued going home, dropping everyone off in Yonkers, and then getting home at 9pm. Worst scenario happened. When we got inside, it was literally as cold as it was outside(It was like zero outside) The toilets in the bathroom were FROZEN. So I couldn't go to the bathroom. It turns out Mary shut off the heat when we left to save money, she probably won't do that again. From 9pm to 11pm, we stayed in my former neighbor Pam's house. It was toasty in there. And that night, William got Kodi for Pam. Kodi is this service where you can watch any movie you want for free. Then at 11pm, Mom said we had to go back into our literal freezing house. When I got to bed, my memory foam mattress was also frozen, my bed was cold! Luckily, the house was fixed within a month. Then we moved out in February and went across the street to our new house. Now one of my school's friends lives in our old house. So it has been a crazy life the past 6 years. This concludes my awfully long life story.
Finally: What I did today: I have been in foster care for the past 6 years. Today, I went to the mall, and got Skip-Bo. It was a great time. So that was my long day.
Update 4/15/18: I have more to say.
It was an awfully beautiful day, it was 74 degrees outside with the sun.
