Where's The Cooldown? Update 17 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27 09.17.25 This weather lends the question: Where's The Cooldown? As I've said nearly every day for the past 16 days, it's nowhere to be found! In fact, the latest forecast shows a cooldown this weekend, but "only" down to the low 70s (9/20 MIGHT get stuck in the 60s, but it would almost be 70 if it doesn't get to 70, which is basically average for this time of year), and right after that, during the week of the equinox, we get BACK to the 80s as highs right AFTER the equinox and after THAT, we "only" fall to the low-to-mid 70s. By this time of year, we should start to struggle hitting 70, but it looks like the last 2 weeks of September will not only hit 70 but 80 as well on numerous occasions, and the first day of October is currently expected to be 75, and though that's 14 days out, that's 8°F above average, SERIOUSLY worrying in terms of the climate!
