It's DAY 2 of our trip to Rochester/ Niagara Falls (US) / Lake George!
Yesterday was August 24, 2019, and it marked our second day of our trip to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US) / Lake George!
In case you forgot, this is what each day will bring or has already brung:
Day 1: Rochester
Day 2: Niagara Falls (US)
Day 3: Lake George
Day 4: Farewell

Now THIS was a crazy day, and I'm ready to talk about it!
At 9 AM, we woke up in Rochester and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I had scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. It was very good! Then, at 10:30 AM, we finally left to Niagara Falls! (US) Now this was the THIRD year we had to stay on the US side because the government is really giving us RED TAPE. That means they're messing around and not wanting to give us the passport. So we had to spend the night on the US side AGAIN after doing it in 2017 AND 2018. We got to the falls around 3 PM, but it turns out our hotel was 15 minutes away from downtown Niagara Falls, and that was a little disappointing. But then, we realized, oh, we can take a shuttle! Well, it turns out the last shuttle left 10 MINUTES before we got there. UGH! 😐😐😐 Well, we realized, oh, we have our car! Why didn't I think of that earlier? Well, when we got in it, the A/C stopped working! (Don't worry, it started working later) So that means we had to open the windows! Thank GOD it was only 75 degrees outside! But we got to downtown Niagara Falls and then ate lunch/dinner at the Rainforest Café! It was good! I got GF pasta with chicken. The pasta was a little cold, but still good! But, at the Rainforest Café, I got a disappointing message: There would be no going to the Seneca due to how late we ate at. (5 PM) And you know I LOVE the Seneca! So at 5 PM, we left the Rainforest Café, and walked to Niagara Falls State Park. But, the main entrance was closed due to construction! So we had to go in A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY that went away from the falls and the Maid Of The Mist! So we explored the park and walked past many gift shops. And then at 6:30 PM, we started getting ready for the Maid Of The Mist. Good news: It was open until 7:30pm! So, at 6:50 PM, we got on the Maid Of The Mist and at 7 PM, the boat ride started! It was SO fun and I risked getting my phone wet just so I could take some amazing pics and vids, just like I did in 2018! And it was an AMAZING ride! Then at 7:30 PM, as we were going to go back to the car to wait in it and watch the sunset, OOPS, the car keys were IN THE CAR and the light was on. (we also later found out that the battery was dead) So we had to call AAA! Well, they came only 20 MINUTES after we called, thank god! I was scared we were gonna have to wait like 2 hours for them to come, but they came in only 20 minutes! So they fixed up our car, and at 9 PM, it was ready to drive! So we drove around Niagara Falls so the car could have a warm-up, and then we drove to downtown and parked, and then ate at Mario's Pizzeria in Niagara Falls! I got a GF sausage pizza, OBVIOUSLY! But what was SHOCKING is that the GF pizza only cost about HALF as much as a normal pizza, when normally it costs MORE than a normal pizza, but it cost LESS than a normal pizza! All the other pizzas were like 20.99, 21.99, etc, but the GF said 9.99. I really though it was a typo and that it was 19.99, but it really was only 9.99! Unfortunately, the wait was so long that we missed the fireworks AND I missed PewDiePie's sub count hitting 100 million! (You can read about that in the post before this one) But the pizza was good! And it was 10:15pm when we left, so we took a 15 minute drive back to our hotel and went to bed, and that was the end of Day 2 of our trip to Rochester/ Niagara Falls (US) / Lake George!
