It's DAY 4 of our trip to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US)/Lake George!

Today was August 26, 2019, and it was our fourth and final day of our megatrip to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US)/Lake George! 

In case you forgot, this is what each day will bring or has already brung:

Day 1: Rochester
Day 2: Niagara Falls (US)
Day 3: Lake George
Day 4: Farewell

For the last day of our trip, we woke up in our motel around 9am. I had a small breakfast: 2 GF double chocolate muffins and a banana! It was delightful! Then we left the Studio Motel for good and drove to downtown Lake George!  At 10:15am, we arrived in downtown Lake George, and we walked down downtown for awhile, and then went to the boatside so the others could go on the Minne-Ha-Ha. (that boat tour of Lake George) But it turns out, it wasn't the right time to go on it. Mom then told me to go in the water, but there was a notice that said there was bacteria in the water, so NO. Afterwards, I went into a souvenir shop and tried buying some apparel with the $33 I had. But MAN, is Lake George EXPENSIVE or WHAT?! (It cost $30 to buy a shirt there, and there was barely any that fit my size!) So I bought NOTHING at the souvenir shop! Well, at least I saved my money! After going into the souvenir shop for NOTHING, we took the 2 hour drive back home, and that was the END of our vacay to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US)/Lake George!

While we were driving back from Lake George, I encountered the Albany, NY skyline with a large park behind it, which kind of looks like New York City and Central Park honestly. But after that, we encountered the Berkshire Mountains, which we saw from Albany until we pretty much got to my therapist. That's right, I left Lake George AND saw my therapist on the same day! And after saying goodbye to my lovely phone I had from August 2018 to August 26, 2019 due to behavioral issues, that was our long megatrip to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US)/Lake George!

Winter Storm Lorraine is going a little further south than the meteorologists were expecting. And as they say, a little goes a long way! A VERY long way! The snowfall map (for where I am) went from 8-12" Sunday night, to 4-8" this morning, to now, 2-4"? We went from a MAJOR snowstorm to just another snowy day in a matter of 24 hours! However, we won't know how much we get until the storm gets here! Everything is already cancelled tomorrow (including HCC, Holyoke Community College, which has been open on SEVERAL days that my local district closed) despite this drastic forecast change (I imagine that they're closing not because of the size of the storm, but its timing, which looks to be 4am-12pm, SMACK DAB in the work day hours for most!), and I appreciate not having to get up early in the morning tomorrow! Anyways, SNOW DAY!!! 🥳🥳🥳😁😎👍

Welcome to the countdown to my show! There are 22 days until the preseason premiere of My High School Years! What I did today: I hung out with George, and took the first half of my 8th grade ELA MCAS. It was a hard working day for me. I beat George in Yahtzee. I didn't play it physically, I got the app!
