Back To Normal Update 8 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27 09.08.25 Today's weather was absolutely gorgeous after the crazy weekend we had that brought TORNADOES to Massachusetts! Keep in mind that we aren't tornado alley, these events are NOT common here in the Northeast, and when they happen, it's almost a freak occurrence! Here's the summary and fall foliage pics below: For today, day 8: High: 77°F Average: 76°F (+1) Today brought us back to normal weather and the pattern we had before the severe weather outbreak on Saturday, 9/6. Bring on the gorgeous weather once again! Fall Foliage With TR27: Where's The Cooldown? (09.17.25)

Where's The Cooldown? Update 17 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27 09.17.25 This weather lends the question: Where's The Cooldown? As I've said nearly every day for the past 16 days, it's nowhere to be found! In fact, the latest forecast shows a cooldown this weekend, but "only" down to the low 70s (9/20 MIGHT get stuck in the 60s, but it would almost be 70 if it doesn't get to 70, which is basically average for this time of year), and right after that, during the week of the equinox, we get BACK to the 80s as highs right AFTER the equinox and after THAT, we "only" fall to the low-to-mid 70s. By this time of year, we should start to struggle hitting 70, but it looks like the last 2 weeks of September will not only hit 70 but 80 as well on numerous occasions, and the first day of October is currently expected to be 75, and though that's 14 days out, that's 8°F above average, SERIOUSLY worrying in terms of the climate! Fall Foliage With TR27: First Fall Outing (09.18.25)

First Fall Outing Update 18 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27 09.18.25 Today was the first day since last fall that I actually did a fall activity, and that was apple picking! However, with lots of sunshine and temps in the lower 80s, it felt more like summer, but then again, it IS technically summer until the 22nd. By this point, we SHOULD be cooling down but the fall cooldown is NOT here and it's nowhere to be found, in fact, it looks like going into the beginning of October, it is going to get WARMER. I'm sorry, WHAT?! Yeah, we're totally screwed in terms of the climate but hey, enjoy the nice weather!
