Going out with Julie to the Granville Gorge in Southwick, MA (June 18, 2020)

Thursday was a very fun day! I had the whole day to myself as it was the first day of summer vacation, and at around 2:30pm, Julie and I went out to the Granville Gorge in Southwick, MA, as last time was a disaster and I'll tell you why. (Spoiler: Thanking Google Maps!) So, in Summer 2019, Julie and I went out to Southwick to try and find the Granville Gorge. But, we took the wrong directions. We were in the wilderness near MA-57, which is how you get to the gorge, but we were on the wrong road and there was a service road, which I thought was how you got to the gorge, but the road was very dangerous, and Julie turned around and we didn't find the gorge that day. But on Thursday, with the help of Google Maps' Offline Maps, I got directions there and we FOUND IT! The sign was VERY small though, so we ALMOST passed it. And it was a very hot but fun day! The good news is that it got cloudy while we were there (but no rain), so it got cooler which REALLY helped. It was a nice day, and it was a great time. First, we got there, and we walked down a road where we got to the gorge. I attempted to take a steep shortcut, but I tripped and ALMOST hurt myself, so that was a NO GO. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Then I went down to the gorge with my tablet and a lot of rocks, but I made it down safely with the tablet because I was taking my time. (Julie did NOT want me to, but I'm a #teenager and took a risk that paid off, I got some AMAZING pics!) I got to the gorge, took my shoes and socks off, and put my feet into the chilly water, that felt good! I took some pics and vids, and it worked out well! After that, we went back to the car, got myself a cherry Coca-Cola and a gluten free protein bar at the Shell, and went home. It was an amazing day, but the next one would be even better...

Some amazing food I had for breakfast.

Tons of pictures I took from the trip...
