The US Capitol

What happened on January 6, 2021 at the US Capitol, DONE AND PLANNED BY THE PRESIDENT, was absolutely wrong. Hundreds of people, breaking the law AND social distancing guidelines, storming the US Capitol just because they want the president to win? Come ON! This just doesn't make sense anymore AT ALL, what a joke!

This event will CERTAINLY make the 2021 end of the year news list, and you guys really messed up. You caused Trump to get banned from Twitter (OK, maybe that was a good thing), you guys all risked getting COVID-19 and/or B1.1.7, the new COVID-19 variant, you all became criminals, breaking the law, what have you done?

If you guys want footage, look it up. I am not associated with the Capitol attacks in any way.

Also, this event makes me feel strongly about those with mental health. People with mental health and/or depression should not have to worry about an event like this when they are already struggling. I support those with mental health as I feel depressed sometimes as well; most teenagers get depressed at one point or another. People with mental health should not be known in the news worldwide for events like this, although I do not know your struggles personally. Even though I am a very lucky and happy teenager, especially during COVID, I still get depressed sometimes; it's normal for teenagers like me to get depressed sometimes.

For those with mental health and/or depression, and even for those who want good advice, don't give up, and KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

Ok, what happened?

Many of you reading this likely already know this event from the news, but I haven't really talked about it on my blog yet.

Here's the basis:

On January 5, 2021, President Trump made the same post all over social media: To join him at the Capitol at 7:00AM sharp on January 6, 2021 at the Save America March. Little did we know that this was basically a TERRORIST ATTACK BY THE PRESIDENT THAT THE PEOPLE SUPPORTED JUST SO HE COULD WIN.

WHAT?!

There are thousands of comments saying negative things about Trump, which is a good thing! 5 have already DIED from this. WHAT'S YOUR PROBLEM, TRUMP?!

This is like Al-Qaeda making a post on September 10, 2001 on Instagram saying "join us at the World Trade Center tomorrow for a business conference". Wrong! You know what I mean? (OK, Instagram didn't exist in 2001, but you know what I mean)

As the day went on, more people joined his event, and by mid-afternoon, the looting and attacking of the Capitol had begun; people were going inside, hundreds of people, not following social distancing guidelines AND breaking the law by breaking into the Capitol, smashing windows, trying to get into the main room of the Capitol and trying to tell the people to stop the count (still believing in a rigged election, COME ON!), police were trying to guide people away from the Capitol, they were getting pushed by the mob, it was a horrifying mess... By 2:30PM, all residents of Washington DC were put into a mandatory curfew to be home by 6PM that night. No dinner tonight! Sorry... It was a terrible day...
