Dinner at 110 Grill (1/11/19)

Image
In 2018, I started looking forward to the opening of 110 Grill at the mall. The website said it would be opening Fall 2018. However, it was delayed to Late 2018, and the restaurant opened just in time for the holidays on Dec 13, 2018. Since then, I had really been looking forward to going there. And last night on Jan 11, 2019, we went to the mall. We first stopped at Target to get some shampoo, and then we went to 110 Grill. We got in at around 7:30 PM. We got to our table, and wow, it looked so elegant. It was like everything was bronze and gold. The sign to the restaurant. We got in, they asked us if any of us had food allergies. They don't ask THAT anywhere else. I told the greeter that I had to eat gluten free, and Mom has shrimp and shellfish allergies. So then we got to the table. We were talking, and then the waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink. I asked for Sprite. So then after 5-10 minutes, my Sprite came. It was good. By this time, it was 8 PM. ...

Going to the NOURISHED FESTIVAL in WORCESTER MA!

Image
You know how it feels to go to a food festival and there's nothing gluten free, right? Or you can have things there like "salads" and "burgers without the bun?" That just feels awful, so when you realize you have an opportunity to go to a festival where you can EAT ANYTHING YOU WANT and it's only an hour away, you just have to TAKE that opportunity. And there we present, the Nourished Festival! (Formerly GFAF Expo) It was my first time going to a food festival like that, so it was a real experience! I was really excited and we planned this about a week ahead! Now, let's talk about the Nourished Festival... I woke up at 7 AM when I was supposed to get up at 8 AM, so I waited an hour in bed, and before you know, it was 8 AM. So I got up and got ready to GO DO THIS THING! So I waited, and before you know, it was 9 AM and Julie was here to pick me up! So we drove to Worcester and went to the Nourished Festival! I got samples of A LOT of things, and there w...

2ND VISIT TO 110 GRILL!

Image
Well, after more than a month of not being there, I finally revisited 110 Grill. The 2nd visit was pretty good, and I got all the same stuff from the first visit. However, the food was a bit better on the 1st visit, although I will definitely be visiting a THIRD time! The only thing wrong with my food on the second visit was that my sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked, but they weren't terrible or anything. Here's what my food looked like on my 2nd visit to 110 Grill: Haven't seen my post about my first visit? Check it out  here . Server card to share 110 Grill on social media! My server was Meghan T, same as last time. My bread and butter on my 2nd visit to 110 Grill. It was pretty good. My 110 Classic Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries on my second visit, although the fries were a little more cooked than I was anticipating. My Sprite at 110 Grill. It was good. It was a great visit, and I will be back a 3rd time! #110Grill 110grill....

END OF 10TH GRADE (June 17, 2020)

Image
10th Grade, OUT! Wednesday, June 17 marked my last day of school for the 2019-20 school year and the last day of 10th grade for me! After school (only a 12:15-1pm Zoom meeting), Mom, Melanie, and I went to Marshall's (they recently reopened from COVID-19, but dressing rooms are closed until June 22) and Mom was ECSTATIC that they were open because apparently it's Mom's favorite store (not mine...) But visiting Marshall's in June 2020 was a lot different because they sanitized your cart at the beginning, the front of the store was turned into a health center, and dressing rooms are closed. (until June 22) After Marshall's, we went to Whole Foods, but I didn't go in; I was using my device until Mom came out of the store. (around 8pm) I helped her with the groceries, and then we went to Wendy's for a fast food dinner. But because I'm gluten free and can't eat the bread at Wendy's, of course they had to screw up my order by giving me my burger with t...

It's DAY 3 of our trip to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US)/ Lake George!

Image
Today was August 25, 2019, and it marked our third day of our trip to Rochester/Niagara Falls (US)/ Lake George! In case you forgot, this is what each day will bring or has already brung: Day 1: Rochester Day 2: Niagara Falls (US) Day 3: Lake George Day 4: Farewell In red is what this day's trip was. Special thanks to my journal for storing this information, because with COVID-19 and it being 9 months since my last writing, I have largely forgotten my 2019 trips. Most of these words are from my journal. Today, we woke up early in our Niagara Falls hotel and went downstairs to eat breakfast. I had a banana and eggs for breakfast. After having breakfast, we left early and took the 5 hour drive to Lake George, and arrived at 4pm. We got to our motel, and sadly there was no view of the lake from it. But it was a GREAT motel, not those crummy ones in small towns. (Now it sounds like I'm writing a country song! 🙂) And the view of the forest that the motel did have was SP...

My High School Years: A Nice Spring Break (4/19/19)

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 21. Summary: It was spring vacation for me (and everybody else) and I had a nice week. I went to 110 Grill TWICE, once in Holyoke and once in Marlborough at Apex Entertainment. Oh, that reminds me! I also went to Apex Entertainment with Julie and did some bowling and arcade. The only bad things are that you could only bowl by the hour instead of by game, and my blood sugar crashed the party as it went too low for me to be able to bowl. (I have type 1 diabetes, which SUCKS!) I also went to Flight Fit N Fun, the new trampoline park at the Holyoke Mall. #110Grill   #ApexEntertainment #FlightFitNFun Seen this episode? Check out  S1 E22! Update 4/21/19: To say something, you know how I said in the episode whoever must've invented VR is a real genius? Well, since the uploading of this episode on Friday, I have been ABSOLUTELY BOMBARDED with ads about the Oculus Go! I wish there was a feature on YouTube where you could report overadvertising, beca...

My High School Years: Episode XIII (1/18/19)

Image
This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 13. First episode in 2 weeks! Last week I went to 110 Grill and had a GREAT time! This week I had an outing with Julie and had Kisara. What a great way to end the week and to start the 3 day weekend! Maybe 4, because Tuesday morning will hover around 0 degrees Fahrenheit! But it will be like 20 later on, so maybe just a 3 day weekend. #110Grill    #AfterSchoolFun   #3DayWeekend Also, I am a few minutes late now, but the show now has a guaranteed schedule of Friday night at 8 PM. Seen this episode? Check out  S1 E14 ! Updated 2/18/19.

My High School Years: Hashtag 31 (2/22/19)

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 16. Summary: It was February vacation, and I had a lot of fun and did so many things! I went to PINZ twice, Autobahn twice, (only raced once) went to Yankee Candle,  went to 110 Grill  with Julie, and went to Downtown Northampton and got lunch at VIVA pasta! I will definitely be back! I also tried going to the barber, but they were closed! (even though it was during business hours!) This episode's also a RECORD-BREAKING 25 MINUTES LONG! So, I hope you saved all your time for this! Seen this episode? Check out  S1 E17 ! #PINZHadley   #AutobahnHadley #YankeeCandleVillageMA   #110Grill And speaking of 110 Grill, check out  110grill.com , it has been BIG-TIME UPDATED! (Might take a few minutes to get used to!) ☺☺☺

MY GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH 110 GRILL CONTINUES...

Image
Remember, how on 1/11/19 (I should've gone 1/10/19 to get a $10 reward, but didn't) I went to 110 Grill for the first time? It was great! Some people had bad experiences, but I had a great one! And today, that experience continues. Just because I signed up for their mailing list, they gave me a $5 discount right off the bat! Thank you so much, 110 Grill! #110Grill

EXTRA: LOOK AT THE COVID-19 cases in my state: (JULY 10, 2020)

Image
Note: this data was taken the evening of July 10, 2020 and is now out of date. 111,110. What an unusual amount of cases. Luckily, 94K of those cases (about 90%) are healed, rendering Massachusetts as one of, if not, the safest states, in the United States. Good job, Massachusetts! 111,110. Wow, just 1 away from all 1s! THAT would've been something! Also, it ends with 110, so...  #110Grill By the way, at this writing (July 17, 2020), Florida now has over 315K total cases of  #covid19  and over 275K active cases, and with BOTH major theme parks open (Universal and Disney), people not paying attention, and not wearing masks, Florida is likely the least performing state in the United States, and it will probably be #1 in total cases in the US by August 1st! Not good! Also, as of July 17, 2020, New York is probably the best performing state besides Massachusetts, with a daily loss of 10K-20K cases and a gain of 1K cases per day, which OBVIOUSLY means that NY is doing WELL. Abo...

My night out with Julie... 🤔🤔🤔

Image
Today was Friday, 😁😁😁 and I decided to take another night out with Julie. So here's how it went: At 4pm, Julie arrives at the community center. We quickly decide to watch How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World at the Hampshire Mall. Oh, gosh, the movie was SO awful we LEFT in the middle! 😐😐😐 Why was it awful? While, there was like NO comedy or anything good, just dragons flying around and fighting each other, and I practically already knew what was going to happen. The only good part of Cinemark was the concessions! 😂😂😂 So then we explored the mall and went to Arizona Pizza. Normally, their sausage GF pizza is really good, but tonight, the toppings were falling off the crust! 😂😂😂😐😐😐 Oh, GOSH! I mean, the pizza was good, but I don't usually have to eat it with a KNIFE and FORK! 😐😐😐 So I waited 20 minutes for falling-off-the-crust pizza 😂😂😂 and another 10 for them being packed. I mean, they were nearly at full capacity, so I do have to give them credit....

4TH OF JULY TRIP TO LAWRENCE/METHUEN, MA!

Image
Hi, everyone! Sorry I'm a week late, but during the 4th of July weekend (Saturday and Sunday), I took a trip with my foster mom to Lawrence, MA to stay the night. It was very fun, and while we were there, between about 8pm and 12am on the 4th of July, I heard and saw fireworks coming from EVERY direction, and it was pretty cool to see, because I was thinking that because that because of  #covid19 , there wouldn't BE any fireworks. But I, and everyone else was proven wrong, because there were fireworks, and lots of them! I did a lot else, but because it would be too much for a description, I have put it in my camera gallery. And so... Here is a camera gallery of my trip: Day 1: July 4, 2020 My 4th of July breakfast: 2 oranges and 2 dark chocolate chip waffles. Delicious! A NASTY SURPRISE: After being gone for 3 years (since 2017), YouTube's dreaded 30-SECOND UNSKIPPABLE ADS ARE BACK. SO FAR, I HAVE GOTTEN 2 OF THEM FROM WATCHING CNBC. I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS ONLY ME, BUT...
