3.6 MILLION MILES PER DAY (150K MPH) ... IT'S A THING!

Changing space technology: A "solar sail" spaceship, which means it uses the sun for energy and traveling and requires NO FUEL, which has the ability to go up to 3 million miles in a day, went on a mission in late June to orbit around the Earth using only the sun for power and NO fuel. Well, it has recently been deemed a success! The 10×10×30cm ship, named LightSail 2, went on that mission on June 25, and it has been deemed a success! You can't ride it or anything, since it's too small, but it's a start! If a spaceship that was actually built to go 3.6m miles per day (150k mph) , it would take the spaceship 9 1/2 days to reach Mars! If we were to take a car going at 60 mph to Mars, it would take almost 7 years to get there! 9 1/2 days is a long time, but it's a lot better than 7 years! So this is a step up in space technology for all of us!

IT'S DAY 3 OF MY 2019 FEBRUARY VACATION!

You're probably wondering, where's DAY 2? Well, let's just say that Day 2, was a snow day! We went nowhere! And so, Day 2 was not noteworthy for a blog post. So we're skipping Day 2 and going straight to Day 3. What happened today: (2/19/19) We had plans to go to Berkshire East. That would've been a lot of fun. However, by the time we even got to the exit for Berkshire East, it was like an hour before they closed. So we decided to do that tomorrow (2/20/19) and went to Yankee Candle instead. That was good, but it could've been better due to me almost losing my diabetes kit. (Luckily, it was in the car!) Now, I've had some good experiences with Yankee Candle in the past, especially in 2013. Now, a little flashback to Nov 30, 2013: Mom and I visited Yankee Candle on Nov 30, 2013. When we got there, it was a cold morning and we watched Santa come down from the sky. That was fun! And then, we had some good food and sweets, lots of fun, and a little Candy Crush

My High School Years: Hashtag 31 (2/22/19)

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 16. Summary: It was February vacation, and I had a lot of fun and did so many things! I went to PINZ twice, Autobahn twice, (only raced once) went to Yankee Candle,  went to 110 Grill  with Julie, and went to Downtown Northampton and got lunch at VIVA pasta! I will definitely be back!
