TECH NEWS: FINALLY A 1TB (MICRO) SD CARD COMES TO FRUITION...

Image
Note: This is the sequel to the post "TECH NEWS: FINALLY A 1TB SD CARD COMES TO FRUITION". If you haven't seen that post, click  here . Well, a month and a half after Lexar announced and released their 1TB SD card, SanDisk has announced their 1TB microSD card that's due to come out in April. But SanDisk has had a lot of problems trying to enter the terabyte market. They tried releasing a 1TB SD card in 2016, didn't work. They also tried releasing a 1TB flash drive, that also didn't work. But hopefully this new product actually comes out! But finally, SanDisk is actually trying as now, they actually have the product on their website and is labeled as Coming Soon! What the product will look like and the fact that it is actually on their website, thank gosh, now my Samsung Galaxy S10 can have 2TB of memory! ☺☺☺ Note: I don't HAVE a Galaxy S10, that's just a joke.

My High School Years: Hashtag 31 (2/22/19)

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 16. Summary: It was February vacation, and I had a lot of fun and did so many things! I went to PINZ twice, Autobahn twice, (only raced once) went to Yankee Candle,  went to 110 Grill  with Julie, and went to Downtown Northampton and got lunch at VIVA pasta! I will definitely be back! I also tried going to the barber, but they were closed! (even though it was during business hours!) This episode's also a RECORD-BREAKING 25 MINUTES LONG! So, I hope you saved all your time for this! Seen this episode? Check out  S1 E17 ! #PINZHadley   #AutobahnHadley #YankeeCandleVillageMA   #110Grill And speaking of 110 Grill, check out  110grill.com , it has been BIG-TIME UPDATED! IT'S DAY 4 OF MY 2019 FEBRUARY VACATION!

Image
Wednesday was Feb 20, 2019, and it was the fourth day of my 2019 February vacation! Wednesday was a great day: I  went to 110 Grill  at the Holyoke Mall and went to Hampshire Mall and basically had a redo of  Sunday . It was a fun day! Here's what happened yesterday: Mom planned another trip yesterday: The Dr. Seuss museum! However, I didn't feel like going, so Mom dropped me off with Julie at the Holyoke Mall. And Julie and I had a lot of fun and we went to 110 Grill! After Julie, Mom had to bring my little brother to Jason's (his social worker) car, and we had to walk through a lot of Macy's to find it, and let me tell you, that store is BIG! Plus, it's 2 floors, so it was even more work to walk through the store! After Macy's and the Holyoke Mall, our family then went to Hampshire Mall! But moments before we got there, there's this new construction going on that will include a Five Guys and an L.L. Bean. But while we were driving by, guess what one of t...

2ND VISIT TO 110 GRILL!

Image
Well, after more than a month of not being there, I finally revisited 110 Grill. The 2nd visit was pretty good, and I got all the same stuff from the first visit. However, the food was a bit better on the 1st visit, although I will definitely be visiting a THIRD time! The only thing wrong with my food on the second visit was that my sweet potato fries were slightly overcooked, but they weren't terrible or anything. Here's what my food looked like on my 2nd visit to 110 Grill: Haven't seen my post about my first visit? Check it out  here . Server card to share 110 Grill on social media! My server was Meghan T, same as last time. My bread and butter on my 2nd visit to 110 Grill. It was pretty good. My 110 Classic Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries on my second visit, although the fries were a little more cooked than I was anticipating. My Sprite at 110 Grill. It was good. It was a great visit, and I will be back a 3rd time! #110Grill 110grill....

Another retailer gone... Payless closing ALL US and Canadian stores...

Image
An iconic American shoestore staple since 1956, Payless has filed for Ch. 11 bankruptcy and is shuttering ALL 2,354 US and Canadian stores out of around 3,600 stores worldwide. (That's two-thirds of their locations simply GONE) Aw, how sad. I actually don't know if I'd blame the internet on this one. All we can say is that it's another giant to fall. As I said, 2354 of around 3600 worldwide locations are shuttering. The other 1200 will remain open. They will be closed by March. It's the first retail fall of 2019, where 2018 had a lot of retail falls (Toys R Us, The Bon-Ton, Sears (and Kmart) (filed for Ch. 11, but around 400 are open as of February 2019)) But get this: Sears had 3500 LOCATIONS in 2010. So about NINETY PERCENT of their locations have closed in only 9 YEARS! Back to Payless: Yep, they're done. (in the US and Canada) Even though they JUST announced their closing, they have already shut down their website, as this is what it looks like on Feb ...

IT'S DAY 3 OF MY 2019 FEBRUARY VACATION!

Image
You're probably wondering, where's DAY 2? Well, let's just say that Day 2, was a snow day! We went nowhere! And so, Day 2 was not noteworthy for a blog post. So we're skipping Day 2 and going straight to Day 3. What happened today: (2/19/19) We had plans to go to Berkshire East. That would've been a lot of fun. However, by the time we even got to the exit for Berkshire East, it was like an hour before they closed. So we decided to do that tomorrow (2/20/19) and went to Yankee Candle instead. That was good, but it could've been better due to me almost losing my diabetes kit. (Luckily, it was in the car!) Now, I've had some good experiences with Yankee Candle in the past, especially in 2013. Now, a little flashback to Nov 30, 2013: Mom and I visited Yankee Candle on Nov 30, 2013. When we got there, it was a cold morning and we watched Santa come down from the sky. That was fun! And then, we had some good food and sweets, lots of fun, and a little Candy Crush...

This post was viewer suggested, and so here's what I'm having for dinner tonight: Rotini and kale and mozzarella burgers. I'm eating one right now, and it's GOOD. Thanks!

IT'S DAY 1 OF MY 2019 FEBRUARY VACATION!

Image
Yesterday was Feb 17, 2019, and it was the first day of 2019 February vacation! I did A LOT of things yesterday at the Hampshire Mall. Normally, that's me and Julie's hangout spot on a Friday, but the whole family went on a Sunday. It was a lot of fun and we did a couple things! So, here was yesterday: At 11:30 AM, Mom picked me up from Dad's so we could have some fun, and Dad could get the motorcycle he has. When I got home, we ate, and then about an hour later, we started our fun day at the Hampshire Mall. We were going to start our day at Cinemark, but the movie we wanted to see, The Kid Who Would Be King , apparently was taken out of the theaters last week, after not even a month there! Yet the movie poster was still there! So we skipped Cinemark and went straight to Autobahn Speedway, and Jullien (my little brother) got 2nd place there. That's great! I didn't feel like racing, but if I ever do start go-karting, it would be a lot of fun. After Autobahn, we wen...

Something will be changing around here...

Well, today, after around 10 months of the same design, I almost decided to change the layout/design of this blog. But it created a HUGE mess and took me 30-45 minutes to get the blog back to its original state. However, there was still one thing that needed to be fixed, and that has just now been fixed. I also am changing something on this blog... Episode posts will be changing! Instead of My High School Years- 2-1-19 for an example, all episodes after 2-8-19 will be named as follows: Instead of My High School Years- 2-22-19 for an example, it will be titled as this: My High School Years: Hashtag 31 (2/22/19) This will currently be limited to new episodes, but I might change the older episodes as well sometime in the future.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

Image
Happy Valentine's Day! Everybody knows that Valentine's Day is about love and especially candy. But to say something, unfortunately, America's favorite candy, Sweethearts are unavailable this year due to the abrupt closure of NECCO in 2018. They will be back, but not until 2020. But Brach's makes a similar version. You should check it out; you can buy the candy off their website and they have cool recipes and stuff. Go check it out! brachs.com This is what Brach's conversation hearts look like. #ValentinesDay

THE OPPORTUNITY MISSION IS DONE AFTER 15 YEARS...

Image
If you haven't heard already, NASA's Opportunity mission, which started in 2004, is officially done. NASA made many attempts to contact the rover after it lost contact on June 10, 2018 due to dust storms on Mars. Unfortunately, no contact was made and the mission was deemed complete today, this February 13, 2019. It lasted 15 YEARS when it was only supposed to last 92 DAYS. Had the mission actually ended in 2004 like it was supposed to, I might've never heard of Opportunity. Some links: Last Transmission  (June 2018) (My battery is low, and it's getting dark) 😭😭😭 Opportunity also hovered an amazing 45 KILOMETERS! (28 MILES) RIP Opportunity 2004-2019 #ThanksOppy   #GoodnightOppy #Goodbye
