Today, July 23, 2020, the British boy band  #OneDirection  celebrates their 10th anniversary, despite being on hiatus and separation since January 2016! So, I predicted the future. How did THAT happen? Today is July 19, 2020, and today is National Ice Cream Day! By the way, the weather is PERFECT to eat ice cream, but one of the hotter days. Unfortunately, on July 17, 2020, John Lewis, a member of the Big Six back in 1963, and more recently, a member of the US House Of Representatives, died from pancreatic cancer at the age of 80. On July 17, a lot of things happened. One, I got my first ever  #Haircut  at  #JCPenney  because my barber wouldn't answer the phone, so, because Julie gets her haircuts there, she took me to JCPenney to get my first ever haircut there. Despite JCPenney being a failing retailer in 2020, their haircuts definitely don't fail to amaze! Two satisfied customers, I hope they can get more! I even PAID for the haircut myself with my  #DebitCard  too, and then went to  #TraderJoes to get food as my first ever personal grocery shopping and paid for THAT as well with my debit card, spent all the money on it, but it was worth it! And AFTER Trader Joe's, I went to see my dad for the FIRST TIME in 4 months! And THAT went well, for a 2 NIGHT visit, with a surprise... My MOM ALSO moved in NEXT DOOR to my dad's, so I get to see HER too! On July 16, I had empanadas for the first time in over 5 years because of my  #CeliacDisease , which prohibits me from eating wheat, barley, rye, and malt, which is found in most foods. However, since my diagnosis in Spring 2015, LOTS of options have popped up since 2015, whereas in 2015, options were quite limited, now they're not! So, empanadas. That would normally fall on my Do Not Eat list, but the people at  #BraziBites  have made them gluten free, allowing me to eat empanadas for the first time in 5 years! On July 13, I got chocolate  #IceCream  from my local parlor, and it was very good! This was the SECOND day in a row that I got ice cream, in my new ice cream loving habit of  #Summer2020 ; before, I dreaded ice cream because of how fast it melted. But because I had chocolate protein shakes in May 2020, and because they tasted like melted ice cream, my taste buds got used to the texture and flavor of melted ice cream, and so, now I love ice cream! #Summer

On July 12, I went on a  #DayTrip  to  #GloucesterMA , and it was very fun! I even got  #IceCream  as well from  #WhiteFarmsIceCream  as well, and it was a VERY fun day! We left home around 11am, arrived around 2pm, and left around 6:30pm, getting home at 9pm. It was a very fun day, and I can't wait to go back. Here are some pics and vids from the #Trip : The failed  #SalterCollege  "campus" in  #ChicopeeMA , opened in 2011 at the former site of a club. Unfortunately, the college's two locations (the other being in  #WestBolystonMA ) were both ordered closed by end 2019 because of former alumni student debt problems and a lawsuit brought on because of this in 2019. Personally, I think the Chicopee location has been closed since at least 2018 as far as I remember though.
