DAY TRIP TO GLOUCESTER, MA! (July 12, 2020)

On July 12, I went on a #DayTrip to #GloucesterMA, and it was very fun!
I even got #IceCream as well from #WhiteFarmsIceCream as well, and it was a VERY fun day! We left home around 11am, arrived around 2pm, and left around 6:30pm, getting home at 9pm. It was a very fun day, and I can't wait to go back.

Here are some pics and vids from the #Trip:

The failed #SalterCollege "campus" in #ChicopeeMA, opened in 2011 at the former site of a club. Unfortunately, the college's two locations (the other being in #WestBolystonMA) were both ordered closed by end 2019 because of former alumni student debt problems and a lawsuit brought on because of this in 2019. Personally, I think the Chicopee location has been closed since at least 2018 as far as I remember though.

Stretching my legs at the #NatickPlaza off I-90 in #NatickMA ...

Back on the highway! This is getting on I-95 from I-90 exit 14, near #BostonMA. (12 miles away)
Fun fact: When I-90 was first built, this was the last exit, rather than today's last exit at #LoganAirport (exit 26). In those days, I-90 ended at MA-128 (exit 14) instead of MA-1A today in Boston. (after exit 26)
NOTE: Exit numbers are set to change, as new exit renumbering project is subject to begin in late #Summer2020.

I didn't know there was a cinema in Gloucester...

Gloucester Cinema, a pretty low-looking movie theater, who knows, maybe it's good?

#StageFortPark in Gloucester, MA

"On this site in 1623, a company of fishermen and farmers from Dorchester, England under the direction of Rev. John White, founded the Massachusetts Bay Colony. From that time, the fisheries, the oldest industry in the Commonwealth, have been uninterruptedly persued from this port. Here in 1625, Gov. Roger Conant, by wise diplomacy, averted bloodshed between contending factions, one led by Myles Standish of Plymouth, the other by Capt. Hewes, a notable exemplification of arbitration in the beginnings of New England.
- Placed by the citizens of Gloucester, 1907"

LOOK how HIGH up I was, Mom was SCARED, OH MAN...
