YouTube, why are you doing this? Recent news: As of 11/18/2020, YouTube has officially changed its terms of service, and many are NOT HAPPY. What is the change? YouTube has added a section stating that they now have the right to monetize ALL videos on the platform, and for creators with less than 1,000 subscribers and less than 4,000 hours of watchtime, too bad, you're not getting any profit! Wait, WHAT?! For people who do not qualify for the YouTube partner program (less than 1k subs and less than 4k hrs of watchtime in 1 year), YouTube still gets to monetize your content but you don't get any money! This is MESSED UP, BIG TIME! This means that ANY channel can get monetized by YouTube, but some creators still get no profit and YouTube gets it all. Creators are NOT HAPPY. This change MAKES me want to unagree with YouTube's terms, but if I don't agree, then I don't use YouTube! (Can't do that, I WATCH YouTube, can't go without it) YouTube, you have fallen dow

Here's a lesson, Apple: Don't slow down old phones! Apple is now paying $113M after the Batterygate controversy that happened in 2016, even after paying $500M also after the controversy in March 2020. Why did Apple do this? Many people thought it was Apple's trick to convince people to buy new iPhones, but this was actually done to improve battery life on older iPhones, but it was a massive failure, as Apple has now paid $600M+ over the controversy. So, don't slow down old phones, Apple! (and any other smartphone maker)

Hello. Since summer 2020, Google Photos has been the main destination for high-quality My High School Years content. But as you may have heard, effective June 1, 2021, Google Photos will no longer offer unlimited free storage, which is essential for My High School Years content. So, a plan has not been figured out yet, but we are expecting the following to happen: Around January 20, 2021, My High School Years will return with new content every week as the first national lockdown is expected to happen between January 20, 2021 and March 3, 2021. (6 weeks) Also, My High School Years will continue to air on Google Photos until the end of season 3, The Junior Year, likely shortly before July 1, 2021. Seasons 0-3 will be available on Google Photos. A plan has not been figured out for season 4, The Senior Year, the final year of My High School Years (July 2021-August 2022), but season 4 will likely be an exclusive blog release or will likely be released on another cloud platform, such as Dego

On Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 4:30pm-6pm, I had my first tutor session with (one of) the Smith students since March, and we did the session over Zoom, because Smith is remote, the tutor, Diamond, lives far away, and obviously, COVID-19. It was a fun session and for the first time since March 2020, my schedule is booked completely! What I do: Monday - 3:30pm-5pm: Music Drop-In Tuesday - 2-3pm: Virtual Therapy, 3pm-4:30pm: Drop-In, 6pm-8pm: HEROES Wednesday - 4:30pm-6pm: Virtual Tutoring Thursday - 3pm-4:30pm: Drop-In Friday - 3:15pm- end time varies, typically between 5 and 5:30pm Saturday/Sunday - visits with Mom and Dad Tutoring was very fun; we looked up a college I want to go to (Landmark College in Putney, VT), researched about the FAFSA, Financial Aid, COVID-19 information (even though I won't be attending college until 2022), and other things, and we will research more about the college and college in general on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 4:30pm. Yesterday, on Friday, November 13, 2020, (Friday the 13th 😈) I went bowling with Julie at Spare Time in Northampton, and had fun! We left the house around 3:15pm and got to the bowling center (as they want to be called now, being bright and clean, rather than alleys, which are dark and dirty) around 3:30pm and we bowled 2 strings and left around 4:30pm and had a great time.
