GOING OUT WITH KHADIAH FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2/21/20: 110 GRILL IN HOLYOKE!

On Monday, November 9, 2020, I went out with Khadiah for the first time since 2/21/2020 and we went to 110 Grill Holyoke at the Holyoke Mall. Before I talk about this outing, let's go back to 2/21/2020:

What I did on 2/21/2020:

10AM-12PM: Watched Sonic The Hedgehog at Cinemark in Hadley
2PM-6PM: Went with Julie to 110 Grill in Millbury (about an hour from my house)
6PM-9PM: Went with Khadiah to Round1 in Holyoke to go to the arcade
9PM-9:40PM: Did closing time shopping at the Holyoke Mall at Burlington (formerly Burlington Coat Factory)
9:40PM-12AM: Ate dinner at Applebee's

As you can see, it was a LONG day!

First, the pictures!


A new housing project under construction in my city, scheduled to be fully complete by the end of 2030. Yes, 10 MORE YEARS...





This part of the project has not yet started; still abandoned. Construction on the red building you just saw started in 2019 and has pretty much been completed in 2020; tenants have already moved in. Construction on the next building in the project is expected to start in 2021 as well. 




This complex, called Tower Space, was lost to a fire in May 2020, but my city didn't give up. Reconstruction of the building is currently happening as of November 2020, and a new roof has recently been put on.

Not even Thanksgiving, but 110 Grill (and my family) are already ready for Christmas!


The most delicious time of the year...


Well, for the first time ever, at 6:45pm, upon getting into 110 Grill, we were told that there was a wait of 30-35 minutes. The first time ever that I/we had to wait at 110 Grill! So, from 6:45pm to 7:15pm, we shopped at Forever 21 during our wait; it felt like forever...


Just the COVID-19 rules at the mall playing out...

Just the 2020 usual: Hand sanitizer, welcome regulations, social distancing, more cleaning, all that...


Also ready for Christmas: Forever 21.


Thank god I'm not USED to fitting rooms, the girls must be FREAKING OUT over the months-long closure of fitting rooms at this point! Although a good thing, "Safety First" is kind of INCONVENIENT when you want to try on clothes, but something microscopic called the "coronavirus" won't let you! Ugh! 🤭🤭🤭🤬🤬🤬🛑🛑🛑 Just a sign of the times...

Social distancing at Forever 21. I challenge you to find a place that ISN'T doing it right now! Difficulty: impossible! And if you DID find one that isn't doing it, DON'T YOU DARE STEP FOOT IN THERE; THEY'LL PROBABLY HUG YOU! 



Time to eat at 110 Grill! First up, a Diet Coke.

Gluten free bread and butter at 110 Grill.


Couldn't help myself: got a second Diet Coke!


Gluten free 110 Classic Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries.


Once again, couldn't help myself. Got a second gluten free bread roll. So small yet so good!


Dessert time: By this point, it was 8:25pm (25 minutes after closing time and about an hour before the 9:30pm COVID-19 legal curfew) and it was time for dessert, so I got a gluten free chocolate cake, which was very good!

IT'S DAY 3 OF MY 2019 FEBRUARY VACATION!

You're probably wondering, where's DAY 2? Well, let's just say that Day 2, was a snow day! We went nowhere! And so, Day 2 was not noteworthy for a blog post. So we're skipping Day 2 and going straight to Day 3. What happened today: (2/19/19) We had plans to go to Berkshire East. That would've been a lot of fun. However, by the time we even got to the exit for Berkshire East, it was like an hour before they closed. So we decided to do that tomorrow (2/20/19) and went to Yankee Candle instead. That was good, but it could've been better due to me almost losing my diabetes kit. (Luckily, it was in the car!) Now, I've had some good experiences with Yankee Candle in the past, especially in 2013. Now, a little flashback to Nov 30, 2013: Mom and I visited Yankee Candle on Nov 30, 2013. When we got there, it was a cold morning and we watched Santa come down from the sky. That was fun! And then, we had some good food and sweets, lots of fun, and a little Candy Crush

My High School Years: Hashtag 31 (2/22/19)

This is SEASON 1 EPISODE 16. Summary: It was February vacation, and I had a lot of fun and did so many things! I went to PINZ twice, Autobahn twice, (only raced once) went to Yankee Candle,  went to 110 Grill  with Julie, and went to Downtown Northampton and got lunch at VIVA pasta! I will definitely be back! I also tried going to the barber, but they were closed! (even though it was during business hours!) This episode's also a RECORD-BREAKING 25 MINUTES LONG! So, I hope you saved all your time for this!
