YouTube, no. Why? (Monetizing all content without pay for creators)

YouTube, why are you doing this? Recent news: As of 11/18/2020, YouTube has officially changed its terms of service, and many are NOT HAPPY. What is the change? YouTube has added a section stating that they now have the right to monetize ALL videos on the platform, and for creators with less than 1,000 subscribers and less than 4,000 hours of watchtime, too bad, you're not getting any profit! Wait, WHAT?!

For people who do not qualify for the YouTube partner program (less than 1k subs and less than 4k hrs of watchtime in 1 year), YouTube still gets to monetize your content but you don't get any money! This is MESSED UP, BIG TIME!

This means that ANY channel can get monetized by YouTube, but some creators still get no profit and YouTube gets it all. Creators are NOT HAPPY.

This change MAKES me want to unagree with YouTube's terms, but if I don't agree, then I don't use YouTube! (Can't do that, I WATCH YouTube, can't go without it)

YouTube, you have fallen down a dark hole. And I'm not pulling you out, sorry. (Not sorry)

Controversies of YouTube: (2018-2020)

YouTube Rewind 2018, most disliked on the site, 18M+ dislikes (December 2018)

James Charles VS Tati, PewDiePie vs T-Series, other controversies (2019)

Comment bots: (wanna be friends? - Logan) (2019 onwards)

COPPA update (late 2019/all of 2020) *effective January 2020*

Inappropriate content marked as made for kids by YouTube's (inexperienced) bots

(Most of 2020)

Removal of community captions (September 2020)

Sex bots going rampid on YouTube (September 2020 onwards) (do you love me?)

Many of these bots had wild names like "tap my pic to ******* tonight" and such; one of the biggest was Anna: Let's Get Acquainted, which changed its name about 8 times before getting terminated around October 2020, which is what EVERYBODY wanted. However, these bots are NOT gone; as of November 2020, some still exist with wild names, but are now commenting relative comments on videos instead of "do you love me?" or things like that. So they are NOT gone, there is still work to do.

And now... Change in YouTube's terms of service (November 2020)

So, YouTube, stop it, get some help.
