Getting stricter...

Things are getting stricter in Massachusetts, where I live, as new cases of COVID-19 continue to go up, consistently over 1,000 new cases many days, compared to only 100-200 new cases during the summer. How bad? So bad, that Massachusetts has implemented a new COVID-19 advisory effective today, November 6. The main details:

Stay at home advisory between 10PM and 5AM (this means you can't be out recreationally after 10PM and must go home, except for essential trips, such as groceries and such, but I don't know any grocery stores that are open after 10PM, honestly)

Gatherings are now limited to 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors and gatherings are legally required to end by 9:30PM

Restaurants are now required to close by 9:30PM, except for takeout offerings, which are allowed later.

This really shows the fall surge of COVID-19 that is going on, and these actions are being taken to prevent the state of Massachusetts from having to go back to phases 1 or 2, which would cause many more businesses to indefinitely shutter, likely for the entirety of the winter, which many businesses would most likely not make it through. We are currently in phase 3 part 1, after stepping down from phase 3 part 2, which was activated on October 8, and ended around late October. This stepdown caused places such as roller rinks, trampoline parks, and laser tag to have to reshutter. Losing phase 3 part 1 would cause arcades, bowling, and other indoor attractions to reshutter, but honestly, I think they should reshutter, for everyone's safety.

How important are these new guidelines? VERY important, as not following them (businesses OR yourself) will likely impose a $500 fine. So FOLLOW the guidelines and STOP being a Karen! 🤣🤣🤣

Also, for now, farewell late outings, I'll miss you...

    1. Honestly, I don't need late night outings right now, since this is for everyone's safety, including mine. And pay attention and stop being KARENS, people!
