Fall Foliage With TR27: Continued Pleasure (09.04.25)
Continued Pleasure
Update 4 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27
09.04.25
This incredibly beautiful weather just keeps going on! Continued sunshine, temps in the low 80s/upper 70s and low/moderate humidity is absolutely the perfect weather and I wish it could stay like this forever! Unfortunately, that's obviously impossible but the fact that it's stayed like this for this long and will likely continue for the foreseeable future is honestly a beautiful start to the fall and is perfect for those September free parking after Labor Day beach trips you might want to do!
Here's the summary and fall foliage pics below:
For today, day 4:
High: 80°F
Average: 76°F
(+4)
This is the 2nd day in a row with the high being 4°F above average. Even though +4 is within the normal range for my documentation, if the total average for my entire documentation (Sep 1 - Dec 31) ends up being +4°F, that is extremely significant and NOT good. As much as I love the continued presence of summer weather, temps in the 70s/80s bleeding into October and even November is NOT a good thing for the planet!
The expected forecast from 9/5-9/18:
9/5: ⛅ 82/64
9/6: ⛈️ 81/56 (71%)
9/7: ⛅ 72/48
9/8: ☀️ 72/45
9/9: 🌤️ 74/45
9/10: ⛅ 73/48
9/11: ⛅ 77/50
9/12: ☀️ 72/43
9/13: 🌤️ 72/44
9/14: ⛅ 76/49
9/15: ⛅ 77/51
9/16: ⛅ 77/51
9/17: ⛅ 75/51
9/18: ⛅ 73/50
As you can see, pleasantly warm afternoons, refreshing nights (a bit TOO refreshing for September... 🥶) and lots of sunshine are in play for the next 2 weeks!
Now for the fall foliage pics taken today, 9/4/25:
A foggy morning on the campus with trees that are starting to change colors!
Especially this one!
Now to midday, where you can actually SEE in the distance. Most trees are still dark green and it will probably stay this way up until a week before the equinox, so probably another 2 weeks at most.
This tree's hiding, but not without the top of it showing its beautiful fall colors!
This tree is in a beautiful transition! 🤩🍁
That red is stunning! 🤩🍁
This isn't a fall foliage pic, but I had to include the fact that the Powerball is currently at $1.7 BILLION, so now's your chance to buy a ticket!
Please play responsibly, to purchase a Powerball lottery ticket, you must be at least 18 years old, though some states have a higher minimum, like 19 in Nebraska and 21 in Arizona and a few others. You cannot play the lottery in Utah and Hawaii since all gambling is prohibited there. If you have a gambling problem, please call 1-800-GAMBLER or your state's hotline, such as 1-800-327-5050 in MA.
Now back to the fall foliage!
Absolutely gorgeous!
This is October-level color right after Labor Day! Some trees change early!
78°F ~ 25.6°C, on par for an early September afternoon!
The fall colors are starting in this parking lot!
Mountain check on 9/4? Still summer!
Beautiful!
These trees might being showing fall...
But the other trees are still in summer mode, and so am I, except for being back in school, that is. Anyways, tomorrow and Saturday (9/6) look like July-style weather, followed by a more normal pattern in the 70s starting Sunday, 9/7/25!
See you tomorrow!
