Fall Foliage With TR27: TORNADO WARNING (09.06.25)
TORNADO WARNING
Update 6 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27
09.06.25
It happened a bit later than usual this year, but we officially had a severe weather day today with tornado warnings by mid-afternoon. After 1-2 weeks of gorgeous weather, it was about time that the atmosphere misbehaved today and it delivered us some much needed rain, albeit at the cost of downed trees, lost power, and other inconveniences. The last time we had a tornado warning was quite a while ago, so this was definitely notable for today's severe weather!
Here's the summary and fall foliage pics below:
For today, day 6:
High: 82°F
Average: 76°F
(+6)
Today gave us our first major storm in quite a while, but even though it was nasty and windy, it was badly needed after an extremely dry end to the summer. Thankfully, the rest of the forecast after this does not appear to have any weather as strong as this expected in the next 2 weeks.
The expected forecast from 9/7-9/20:
9/7: 🌧️ 68/44 (95%)
9/8: ☀️ 73/44
9/9: 🌤️ 74/46
9/10: 🌥️ 74/47
9/11: 🌤️ 80/51
9/12: ☀️ 73/47
9/13: ⛅ 75/50
9/14: ⛅ 79/54
9/15: ⛅ 79/55
9/16: ⛅ 75/50
9/17: ⛅ 75/50
9/18: ⛅ 75/51
9/19: ⛅ 75/51
9/20: ⛅ 76/51
As you can see, tomorrow will be our 2nd day in a row of badly needed rain, and after that, perfect weather returns! We get a slight feel of fall for the rest of the weekend and early part of the week, but after that, we get a more summer feel with temps close to 80 and nights with temps in the 50s, slightly warmer but still very comfortable!
Here's the main pic and fall foliage pics taken today, 9/6/25:
And that's really it for tonight! See you tomorrow! It'll be chillier and rainy for the first part of the day!
Updated 8:58 PM on 9/11/25 to colorize highs based on how far above or below average they are/were.
