Update 24 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27

Cue a Rascal Flatts classic, because we're in the midst of some VERY warm nights, so because of that, this update will be titled Summer Nights.

At Westover AND the PWS, it didn't fall below the mid-60s last night, only getting down to around 65! đŸĨĩ It WAS expected to bottom out around 61/62, but temps have basically hung since midnight in the mid-to-upper 60s, which is also highly unusual! Temps should be mid-to-upper 60s during the day at this point, but NOT at night as well! 😂đŸ˜Ŧ

Also, today is the last day with an average high of 70 degrees. Between September 25 and October 19, our average high will fall through the 60s! Despite this, the current forecast is mainly expected to be above average with high 70s/low 80s this week, a dip to average for the first 2 days of October (mid-60s expected) and then a rise to the mid-70s and down to the low 70s by the end of the forecast. It does NOT want to cool down!

Our first below average day in quite a while, but just BARELY below it in the upper 60s! This is also only the SECOND day this September to have a high below 70, the first day being September 7, which was the day after the tornadic activity in New England! Keep in mind that in 2023, September had 9 days below 70 and in 2024, it had 7 days below 70! From the way it's looking, our next day below 70 won't be until October 1st, so unless it squeezes in early on the 30th, we went from 9 days below 70 in September 2023 to 7 days below 70 in September 2024 to only 2 days below 70 in September 2025! Highly problematic! đŸĨĩđŸ˜Ŧ

Village Pizza in Easthampton, MA now has a video gaming area, with over 10,000 games available to play on that one console! Yes, a pizzeria now has a gaming area! 🎮😎😁
Gaming is inescapable now, and this proves it!


A closer look at said area. I love the timestamp in the top left of the TV, but it was off the actual time by about a minute. The only time that would be a problem would be on New Year's, but Village closes at 10 PM at the latest, so that wouldn't be an issue. Maybe with this gaming area, they'll close later? I honestly don't think so but it's wishful thinking!

Me in attendance tonight at the Muses: To The 80s drag show at the Marigold Theater in Easthampton, MA! Ages 18+ only as with most drag shows around! I got the Chucks and a Back To The Future hoodie, so I'm totally back in time!

Considering I have a love for lost music and a little bit of the 80s at tonight's event, I decided to kick it retro with not only my style tonight, but with some music from the 80s that was lost all the way up until 2024, the song Ulterior Motives by the Booth Brothers (Christopher Saint Booth & Philip Adrian Booth), and I listened to the original audio nearly twice. What I must say is that the original audio comes from a... 18+ movie so if you want to listen to the original audio of the song (isolated original audio currently nonexistent), ONLY LISTEN IF YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD AND COMFORTABLE WITH HEARING... THINGS.

This song HAS been re-recorded by them in 2024 post-discovery so you can listen to this song anywhere at any age compared to the OG 18+ audio which should be kept private via headphones/AirPods/EarPods and in the ears of adults ONLY.

In public/under 18? Listen to the RE-RECORDING.
In private/over 18? Listen to the re-recording or the original audio, your choice.

Oh my God, this is getting SUPER off-topic, so I apologize, but this is what happens when I don't have a foliage update!

Fall Foliage With TR27: Where's The Cooldown? (09.17.25)

Where's The Cooldown? Update 17 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27 09.17.25 This weather lends the question: Where's The Cooldown? As I've said nearly every day for the past 16 days, it's nowhere to be found! In fact, the latest forecast shows a cooldown this weekend, but "only" down to the low 70s (9/20 MIGHT get stuck in the 60s, but it would almost be 70 if it doesn't get to 70, which is basically average for this time of year), and right after that, during the week of the equinox, we get BACK to the 80s as highs right AFTER the equinox and after THAT, we "only" fall to the low-to-mid 70s. By this time of year, we should start to struggle hitting 70, but it looks like the last 2 weeks of September will not only hit 70 but 80 as well on numerous occasions, and the first day of October is currently expected to be 75, and though that's 14 days out, that's 8°F above average, SERIOUSLY worrying in terms of the climate! New year, new me! Now that 2021 (and sadly, Betty White, RIP 12/31/2021, age 99 😭🕊️) is past us, we can have a great 2022 together! 😎👍🎉🎆🌆 What 2022 will mean for me: ACTUALITIES: I will graduate high school and (most likely) begin college at either HCC (Holyoke Community College) or UMass Amherst. (University of Massachusetts Amherst) 2022 will be my first full year as an adult, so WHO KNOWS what could happen! 😆🎓👨‍đŸĢ PREDICTIONS: The COVID-19 pandemic will end in the US or worldwide, omicron or one more after that could be last variant to still cause restrictions such as masks, distancing, and closure/going virtual if absolutely necessary; my prediction is  no more masks/distancing (back to "normal") by March to July 2022, ❌😷 -> ⛱️ '22 at least 25% of the US population will get COVID-19 in one way or another, we can't mask ourselves forever, although it already feels like we have after almost 2 years... 😭đŸĻ đŸ’‰đŸ’ŠđŸ¤’ (Currently about 12% have been infected)...
