09.10.25

10 updates already, of the many we're going to do! Let's just say that today's weather ended up being a repeat of yesterday's, except even warmer and NOT what the weather was originally expected to be for today! Today was a repeat of perfect weather, so I could've given this the Perfection II title, but since the weather was completely different than what was predicted, it gets this title instead!

Here's the summary and fall foliage pics below:

For today, day 10:

High: 80°F*

Average: 75°F

*Another reading above the actual high, which was likely around 75 today. Big E's Supermarket in Easthampton, MA AND Chase Bank were reading in the 80s (82-83°F) today, but that was likely above the actual temperature.

Today was gorgeous with LOTS of sunshine (little to NONE was expected!) and pleasantly warm. Yeah, what was that part from yesterday about me needing to wear a sweater that didn't age well? 😂

The expected forecast from 9/11-9/24:

9/11: 🌤️ 80/52 (looking eerily similar to the forecast on the same day in 2001... 9/11/2024 was basically the same weather as 9/11/2001 and it looks like we will get "the 9/11 weather" two September 11ths in a row!)

9/12: ☀️ 76/50

9/14: 🌧️ 78/53 (50%)

9/15: 🌧️ 76/52 (56%)

OK, fall's not coming anytime soon! LOL 😂 And to think people are already closing their pools while the forecast still SCREAMS summer (every day above 70, many days mid/upper 70s, even 80!) is honestly insane!

We're going to be 80% of the way through September and STILL in shorts! It looks like 2025 is going to be a repeat of 2023 and 2024, even though JCPenney already has CHRISTMAS stuff out! Yeah, check out the Fall Foliage With TR27 post from 9/8 I posted, I snuck in a pic of JCPenney's CHRISTMAS decor on sale that day!

For anybody ready for Christmas, I'm sorry, but we're not even in fall territory yet, so fall hasn't even started! 😬 It's going to be a long wait, and winter weather might not be delivered in time for Christmas much like your Temu/Wish package... 😬

I'm telling you, GO TO THE BEACH. Once again, if you go after Labor Day, there's a very high chance that parking is free during the off-season! Sure, there won't be concessions and lifeguards (SWIM AT OWN RISK), but is the concessions REALLY needed? All you need is nature, the sun, the sand, the water, and some gas/electricity to get there and back!

This type of weather is PERFECT for the beach and one of the major parts that makes it pricey is NONEXISTENT until May 2026 (Memorial Day), so make use of it! You won't regret it!

Still looks like summer to me! With this weather, I am NOT surprised! This series is delivering so far - we're 10 days in and STILL in a summer forecast! Let's see how long summer lasts, as that's the entire point of me doing this! Wait, why is it completely sunny? I thought it was supposed to be cloudy, and cool...

This is the best fall foliage in today's update, I'm genuinely sorry!

And a pic of tonight's sunset, which today was also the sunset of Charlie Kirk at his own event in Utah, at age 31. Just figured I'd throw that in here for historical reference as this series is the only blog posts I've been doing here recently, but this series is 100% fall foliage, NOT NEWS.

Anyways, see you tomorrow! It's looking like it's going to be a beautiful Thursday morning, much like "the day" in 2001 was "it's too quiet" and "a beautiful Tuesday morning". 9/11 looking like 9/11 itself 2 years in a row was not on my bingo card for 2025! (OK, enough references, LOL 🤣)

Updated 9:11 PM on 9/11/25 to colorize highs based on how far above or beyond average they were/are. The timing was honestly perfect based on today!
