Is Fall Coming?

Update 13 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27

We're approaching 2 weeks of updates and for these first 2 weeks, it has almost always been summer weather each day, but it seems that that might be about to change, in a week or so! The next week or so will be solidly summer, but after that, we start flirting with fall weather!

Today was a nice day, but a bit cloudier and also, a bit rainy in certain locations in my area with scattered pop-up showers that occurred today sporadically. A nice break from the sun, a slight one, that is.

The expected forecast from 9/14-9/27:

The weather forecast is starting to become unstable! Earlier today, 9/19 was expected to have a high of 85 (basically the same as last year!) but the weather is now starting to show a battle with fall weather, with solidly summer weather through 9/19, borderline on 9/20, fall on 9/21 (technically the last day of summer!) and 9/22, and borderline 9/23 onwards, which are all in fall. Seeing a high of "only" 65 is rather shocking since the entire forecast was expected to be above 70 up until yesterday, but it looks like a tug-of-war between summer and fall begins on 9/20, and 65 isn't that crazy for a high in late September, only being slightly below average, with the average temp on 9/21 being 71, so 9/21 might end up being a light blue tier day (6-10°F below average, slightly below average) and there's the chance that 9/19 could be a red tier day (11-20°F above average) but that would require the high to reach at least 83, which COULD happen, but now that the expected high has dropped to 82, if it only gets to 82, that would just barely make it an orange tier day at 10°F above average.
