Fall Foliage With TR27: First Day Off (09.03.25)
First Day Off
Update 3 of the 2025 season of Fall Foliage With TR27
09.03.25
The incredible summerlike weather pattern we've had continued in full force today, bringing us another beautiful late summer day on top of all the ones we've had already! Temps were around where they should be (up by a few degrees though) in the low 80s today and it was honestly perfect weather, though a bit more humid. Feels about right for this time of year!
Here's the summary and fall foliage pics below:
For today, day 3:
High: 81°F
Average: 77°F
(+4)
The expected forecast from 9/4-9/17:
9/4: ⛅ 81/62
9/5: ⛅ 83/64
9/6: ⛈️ 81/55 (74%)
9/7: ⛅ 73/50
9/8: ⛅ 72/45
9/9: ☀️ 73/44
9/10: 🌤️ 76/47
9/11: ⛅ 78/50
9/12: ⛅ 75/47
9/13: ⛅ 75/49
9/14: ⛅ 77/52
9/15: ⛅ 79/52
9/16: ⛅ 77/51
9/17: ⛅ 76/50
Still trending summer during the day and fall at night! But those nights are cold, especially 9/9 into 9/10 with a current low expected that is 11°F lower than average, being the first time I break out the dark blue color, which represents an expected temp 11-20°F below average! We're still looking at a false fall between 9/7-9/9, but with temps staying in the 70s through the next 2 weeks after we get through some 80+ degree days this week, summer weather is still on! We'll see how long it lasts though!
Now, here's the main pic and fall foliage pics taken today, 9/3/25:
1 tree in summer, 1 tree in fall!
Make that 2 trees in fall! Or 1.5?
A pitch perfect late summer day!
Peak bright red! 🤩🍁
Looking over the Manhan Rail Trail bike path, 9/3/25. Trees still look summery but this will likely change in 2-4 weeks time, much like milk!
Definitely starting to look like fall over here!
And here too!
Mountain check? Still summer!
The sun shining at 7 PM! Look how low it is in the sky, though. Probably the last week it shines through my window at 7 PM until April or so!
Updated 10:23 PM on 9/4/25 to add main photo at the top.
